Sainsbury’s Knutsford have announced they have awarded their “Chariity of the Year” to Knutsford Community First Responder Trust.
Over the next 12 months the Sainsbury’s Team from the Knutsford Store will be undertaking a series of “sponsored events” with all money raised being most generously donated to our Trust.
Gareth Saunders (Sainsburys Knutsford Store Manager) stated:
“We picked Knutsford Community First Responder Trust because it is quite close to a lot of our colleagues hearts, particularly the Heartstart services”
“We thought it would be a great charity to support and everyone wanted to get involved. My team are really enthusiastic about raising money for the Trust and we hoping to plan interesting events in the community, such as bunjee jumping and sky diving!”

Adrian Rees, Chairman of Knutsford Community First Responder Trust stated that our Trust were honoured to be nominated by Sainsbury’s.
He added “It is a most generous award; funding our continuing work in providing Knutsford and the surrounding communities our monthly Heartstart Courses, provision of First Responder Services and the fitting of Defibrillators is very expensive.
“Without the on-going financial support of local business’s such as Sainsbury’s, we would be unable to continue these life saving services. We look forward to working alongside Gareth and his splendid team at ther Sainsbury’s Knutsford Store over the coming year.”
