KCFRT have teamed with CTARA (Chelford Tenants and Residents Association) to seek donations from Chelford residents to erect 3 externally mounded AED’s (Automated External Defibrillators) around the village.
Currently there are NO AED’s accessible 24/7 in and around the village.
A “crowdfunding” appeal has been launched in the village to raise the £6,000 necessary, to date an incredible £2467.76 has been received!!! Well done to the residents of Chelford!
Externally mounted sites have been agreed at Chelford Village Hall, Astle Coomunity Hub and in a suitable location in the Dixon Estate.
To donate to this project, please use the “CAF” button on the Home Page of the web-site, or send a cheque, made out to “Knutsford Community First Responder Trust” and write on the back “Chelford AED Project”, to our Chairman – Sal Thompson at Cedar House, Hayton Street, Knutsford WA16 ODR.
