WE ARE SEEKING NEW VOLUNTEERS TO BECOME MEMBERS OF KNUTSFORD’S FIRST RESPONDER TEAM
First Responders are volunteers who have been trained in the skills required to attend 999 calls received by the NHS Ambulance service, and to provide basic life-saving skills until the ambulance arrives. They function within the local Knutsford community. We are in in need of more First Responders to cover Knutsford and so, along with Esther McVey we are hosting an event to give further details on what the role entails.
Typically we respond to about 300 calls a year. Not only do we administer emergency first aid but our presence provides reassurance and takes some of the strain off both the casualty and their relatives. Our service has been valued by a great many members of our community and we desperately need new volunteers to help us to continue.
Come and join us on AT THE JUBILEE HALL AT 3PM SATURDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2021
