At Bexton Primary School we have been lucky enough this term to work alongside some of the volunteers from Knutsford Community First Responders Trust as part of a project to educate the children about vital first aid skills and the role of the First Responders.

All the volunteers have demonstrated an expert level of knowledge, an ability to share this information with children of different ages appropriately and make the sessions lots of fun. The sessions were wonderfully interactive and the teachers enjoyed being put into the recovery position by even the smallest child.

We are incredibly grateful to all the volunteers for giving up their time to come and work with the children. It is a powerful learning experience for children when they meet volunteers. A huge thank you to all involved and everyone at Bexton Primary School looks forward to working with KCFRT again in the future.

Thanks once again for arranging our Bespoke training session. I have had lots of positive feedback. Not only did everyone learn but they also, somewhat to their surprise, enjoyed themselves.
Please pass on our thanks to your team.

Many thanks to the Knutsford First Responder Team for an excellent course for which I am sure there will be a lot of positive feedback. We may see you again in 2 years time!

An excellently presented training session, thoroughly enjoyable. Greatly enhanced by the skills of Sylvia, the presenter, who mixed straight-to-the-point teaching, with humour and anecdotes from her experiences. Great fun and very instructive

Dear Adrian and Heartstart. My husband , Bill , and I attended the Heart-Start course on 3rd April and found it most helpful . The tuition was highly informative , at all times clear and comprehensive . The hands-on practical sessions were also very useful and we both came away feeling that we had been helped enormously in knowing what to do to offer some first-aid . We were also reassured that , even if we were able to do just the very basics , we may have made the difference to a person’s chances of recovery . We hope we will never be called upon in such circumstances , but feel more confident that we will know what to do .

We both attended the Heartstart course at Knutsford Methodist Church on Thursday, 7th Dec 2017.
It was extremely well organised and informative, yet carried out in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We learned so much in that time and definitely now feel more confident having learn the basic skills. Many thanks to all concerned. We look forward to our Refresher Course.

Last night this little box restarted a man's heart and saved a life. Today that man, my next door neighbour's step dad, is recovering in hospital. Last night we were fighting to save him on the road outside my house. IT WORKS - CPR and an AED DO save lives.

Just thought I would drop you and E-Mail to say what an excellent course and service you all provide to the Knutsford Community. We both found the course very informative and have learnt a lot. Please pass this onto Sylvia and the rest of the Team and thank them for the services they all provide. Also I hope Stephanie trains to become an excellent Trainer and wish her all the best. I’m sure we will meet again next year when our Explorer Scouts are doing their first aid sessions for their D of E (Duke of Edinburgh).
